The game gives the player ten races to choose from, each race has their own special moves. The original version of the game starts with the player having 3 species to choose from, unlocking new characters by defeating them in battle. These races include the Humanoid, CyberDroid, Cryoplasts, Amazoid, Bi-Husker, Rayzor, Mammath, Puftian, Colonoid, and lastly, the Celluloid.
The game consists of 10 matches, facing off with each race from left to right of the given list. Mongu The Fat is the champion of the fight palace and the last obstacle of the game. The Fat Man’s special ability is the “Tongue Lash”, where his belly opens and sprawls out a tongue tweak that jabs the enemy. Despite being the boss fight of the game, players have defeated Mongu in as little as 5 seconds
Some of the features include being able to place wagers on the outcome of the fight, and the phenomenon of a special move being less powerful the more you use it to balance gameplay. Two-player, head-to-head combat is supported.
